This Womb Belongs To Us
By Sandhya
In one vast womb, we all reside,
Loving beings, side by side.
Yet hatred creeps, with silent hands,
Severing kin, dividing lands.
One womb, one star, one endless sky—
Still, we fight, but why, oh why?
Isn’t it strange, the tears we spill,
For what we own, for what’s ours still?
Rivers flow and blood runs red,
But all our fears are born from dread.
The simple truths we all must share:
Air, water, food, love’s gentle care.
Mountains rise, rivers part the land,
But sky and moon together stand.
Our blood runs deep through every vein—
Why must we fight, why cause such pain?
Far or near, what is this fear?
Learn, blend, and show respect sincere.
Insects, humans share the same home—
Why wage war for land we already own?
Does it not tear at your heart,
To see loved ones torn apart?
Has your pride turned your soul to stone,
Leading others where love has flown?
The one who kills, the one who dies—
Both of one race, both close their eyes.
They had dreams, they had loved ones too,
Yet they perish for safety, for you.
They fall with pride, but sorrow sleeps,
A hidden tear that no one keeps.
Can we not bind and heal the land,
So peace may live, by our own hand?
Let us build bridges, break down walls,
Where love will rise, and hatred falls.
In unity, we’ll stand and thrive,
Hand in hand, we’ll stay alive—
A world where all can find their place,
And love will heal the human race.
