Theatre Hall

By Ridhima Bhagawati

I am in the audience by day,

Manning the theatre by night,

Playing your reel of forbidden film,

In the cinema of my mind.

Spotlights glare into stage corners,

Grab onto your costume and follow you,

When I man the switchboard or the cinema reel,

There is no member of cast but you.
