The Worth of Ash.

By Avani.Dinakar.Haritsa

What worth does a person hold

When all that ignites simply turns cold.

All that speaks of your pride

Lay in tatters, served aside.

Values can change, edit, and diminish

Bonds can fall, crack, and finish.

What weight does a promise bear,

When silence answers every prayer.

The mirror cracks, reflections stray,

What was “forever” fades to grey.

And in the ruins of what once shone bright,

Lies peace, disguised as loss in light.
