The world is a cruel place… and we’re living in it.

We’re constantly comparing ourselves to others their lives, their looks, their achievements, and everything in between. Unrealistic beauty standards and the constant misogyny around the world can make a woman’s life feel exhausting. At the same time, the pressure to provide, to be strong, and to carry the responsibility of being the breadwinner is slowly eating the life out of many men.

Gender wars have become normal. Bullying someone is often disguised as a way of showing confidence, when in reality, it’s sometimes just our own insecurities being projected onto someone else. And the saddest part? People actually enjoy it.

Sometimes, I miss a time when people were honest but still genuine. When criticism came with good intentions. When, instead of tearing someone down, people would give them ideas, advice, or simply help them do better.

I wonder if we’ll ever go back to that.

Will we ever reach a point where kindness, empathy, honesty, and basic human decency feel normal again?

Or are we blindly walking into an era where being a decent human being will become something worth being proud of?
