We talk about different forms of love. Some even say that its hard to find a true love in this generation. But no one talks about the woman who gave them all the affection one’s heart could ever hold. I believe mothers are the strongest of all. She is gentle , yet powerful. A mother can go beyond her capabilities when it comes to her child. Her emotions are not expressed by words, but with silent gestures that makes our houses feel like home. Her love is wrapped in the blanket she tucked you in when crying was the only means to communicate. Her love is in the first pencil she taught you to hold. Her love is in the bandage when you first scraped your knees while playing, in the death stares when you act like a brat, in the lunch she saves you while being hungry herself , in the soup she makes for you when you fall ill , in the silent prayers when she sees you depressed. Her love is in her proud smile even in your smallest achievements, in the snacks you love that she brings on her way back home , in the tears when you do something unexpected for her, in the bad mood when you slightly raise your voice at her. It has always been there for us in everything she does.
A mother does a lot for her child which is unconditional and can never be matched. She sacrifices her dreams, her comfort, her wealth, even her relations with others , just for the wellness of her children. Yet she is the most overlooked when it comes to showing back love. A mother’s compassion stays with her child even if she is far. We get so absorbed in our lives for career , growth, money , stability and other relations, that we tend to forget about her. We get so engrossed in making our own houses that we let slip of the one who makes us feel home. People are depressed for not receiving enough love. Finding it in others , but Just like Maleficent’s love for Aurora wakes her from her death sleep. Till we realise that the true love we are searching for is right in front our eyes the whole time, all that is left is guilt. For not spending enough time with our moms because of our career requirements , for not giving back the love she deserves because we are engaged in giving out parts of love to the callous people who don’t cherish our true spirit. Often failing to remember that it all came from the woman who gave us her whole life and asked for nothing in return. She makes us strong in the ways even we tend to ignore.
Its true enough that a mother’s love is myriad and matchless. The woman behind every strength is A MOTHER.
