The Winter

Winter's here again with all her magic Silence of the trees greets the cold days The dew of the autumn turned into snow This too shall pass, nothing ever stays.

The wind from the north is so unforgiving As obvious as death is, marking the end Leaving the heart stabbed and memories frozen Up above the fog where the sky once bled. From here up to the next lifetime No one kept their promises to come back Teetering on the edge of the abyss Behind the obituaries hope ran smack.
