The Way You Cast A Spell On Me

Time flies when I think about you,

Each second a paradoxical eternity.

Dreams of you deliberate me in a trance

Rushing my delicate soul in a devil's dance.

My sight blurs, and words slur,

as they escape my lips.

The things I wish to tell you,

Right there on my tongue tip.

I lose all sense of being,

And feel my legs shiver.

A tingle runs up my back,

From a whisper unheard of.

The world dissolves as I space out,

Unable to command my body,

The ceiling becomes a canvas for your smile,

A memory perhaps, but real nonetheless.

Those twinkling eyes,

Brighter than the diamond earrings you wear,

The nose scrunch, the gaze you cast on me,

Calling me an idiot, a dummy.

As plain as day and night,

You were to behold, a sight.

And now, a spectacle, a miracle,

an actuation of dreams.

Stubborn, resilient, proud as ever,

A perfect blend of harmony.

I hope it shall never sever,

The spell you cast on me.
