The Way the Seasons Yearn for Change

My love for you will remain constant even as the autumn leaves gush into winter.

It will not slip away like dew drops on an icy morning.

It will not wither and die like a flower, blooming on the eve of the last day of spring.

My love for you will grow ever stronger as the seasons change.

It will shine down on me in summer, rustle the strings of my heart in autumn, pour down on me in winter and blossom from me in spring.

Because my love, I cherish you like I cherish the crisp sea breeze of a summer’s night.

I adore you, the way I adore the rushing of the wind through the yellow-brown leaves in autumn.

I love you like I love the first rain of winter.

I hold on to you like I hold on to the last fresh petal of spring.

And my darling, I yearn for you the way the seasons yearn for change.
