What is the stranger searching for?
Friends, where is his home?
He goes around asking people.
The stranger laughs,
The stranger cries,
Roaming the streets, wandering aimlessly.
He belongs to everyone,
Yet has no one.
The stranger wanders, searching.
In the colors of the rainbow, in the language of bubbles,
He walks in the sunlight, cradling shadows.
Among dark clouds, he searches for the moon,
Listening to the silent whispers of the wind.
My beloved lingers nearby, unseen,
But his fragrance still fills the air.
There was neither union nor separation,
The prisoner of love never found freedom.
They say he promised to meet in dreams,
But sleep evades me all night.
My breaths grow faint,
My pulse weakens.
What is the stranger searching for?
Where is his home?
He wanders, asking.
