“The Utopian Train Station”

In this forlorn alley of grey clouds,

everything is silent-only my presence is loud;

for I wait for the train that shall lead me to death;

as I unburied myself in the growing age of my head.

All of this is fake;

a train station or death;

like the deafening silence around;

on the train, I have found.

Though it felt so real in my head,

as if this is the world I am to wed;

as I board this train-the clouds disappear;

I am greeted with warmth and grave of my fears.

My state of melancholy is now disguised;

as the spirit of merry or ecstatic highs;

then I gaze out the window to find my look alike;

in grief and gloom, no mirth to ignite.

She sits amidst the clouds of woe;

in a vulnerable state and this station as foe;

for I never ever did an effort to realize;

the station is an illusion and silence a trailer-not wise.

The station was a trap and the train my rescue;

from death of passion and a sad adieu;

for the silence here lived to make me mad;

in the yearn of death-that in my head I had.
