The Unspoken Silence

By Prachi Tripathi

They started to make noises around

But your heart choses to make no sound

They said something which gave out grief to you

Yet you chose to not make it a view

They were yelling and scolding in front of everybody

Still the anger in you was expressed by nothing but a silent why?

They insulted you for some insecurity you own

But the mixed feeling in you wasn’t able to express anything other than a

silent groan

“Silence” , the word is short enough

But the feeling could make someone’s day rough
