The Unspoken Scream

Amidst the shadows of a nation’s shame,
A silent cry echoes, a woman’s pain unclaimed.
In every corner, a story unfolds,
Of innocence lost, of trust shattered, of souls grown old.
In this era of Kalyug, where darkness reigns,
No one is spared, not even the innocent’s refrain.
From the womb to the grave, women face the test,
Their safety, a luxury, their voices, suppressed, unrest.
The system fails, the law delays,
Justice denied, as the guilty roam free in mazes.
The fear of shame, the weight of blame,
Silences the victims, as the perpetrators claim.
But there was one, a queen of old,
Draupadi, brave, her story yet untold.
With five husbands, she shared her life,
But when her honor was at stake, she took a stand, a warrior’s strife.
In the king’s court, she was disrobed,
Her clothes torn, her dignity robbed.
The men watched, silent, as she was shamed,
But she vowed revenge, her hair washed with the blood of the guilty claimed.
Her story teaches, a lesson so grand,
That justice must be served, with a firm hand.
For women’s safety, we must take a stand,
With strict laws, and a society that supports, hand in hand.
Let Draupadi’s courage inspire,
A generation to rise, and demand justice on fire.
For the women of today, and tomorrow’s daughters too,
We must create a world, where they can live, free, and true.
