The Unseen Light

My life has unfolded in the depths of night.

Fighting fiercely to discover the light.

The light I’ve been longing to discover, will I uncover in this lifetime?

Battling to stay alive amidst the darkness,

Because I know I’ll never discover the light.

I’ve worn myself out with the battle,

Because I’ve poured my heart into the fight.
