The True Bliss

Follow the sun,

or follow the breeze.

They will guide you,

and never stop or cease.

The sun is always bright,

which makes the world look just right.

It shines brightly on trees and flowers,

and can keep my heart in bliss for hours.

Oh, and there comes the breeze,

so light and swift.

That it caresses the trees,

and the spirit of my mind it can lift.

But don’t ever follow me,

for I have made mistakes.

And I am still trying to be,

the one thing misery hates.

Oh, what joy it brings me,

to make my day bright.

And do this for others,

who have suffered a terrible plight.

And now, everywhere in this little town,

there is laughter, smiles and not a single frown.

For everyone has got to know,

misery is something they should let go.

So, now as the day ends,

with streets lighted by kindness.

I walked down the bends,

with my heart brimming with bliss and happiness.
