The Tiger

I am what I am,

A tiger of diabolical nature.

The prey I shun to consume

Is the prey I love to nurture.

Starvation or servitude

I care not greatly.

For my existence unbridled,

I care only for serenity.

In love and peace

Will my tiger heart know tranquillity.

Alone I am.

And I am what I am,

A tiger of ambiguous nature.

The prey my kins hunt

Is the prey I love to nurture.

For life is fleeting

And you are what you are.

As mighty as a tiger,

Life is like a snowflake

And not one soul infallible.

To heaven I implore

That all existential being

Be nurtured in love and peace.
