A Romance where I am the other woman in

My grief and my soul

Dance to jazz

While I sit in the corner

I graze over as the moon kisses their skin

But the very same moon fills my body up in darkness

As the saxophone fades in the hues of the early morning

My grief and my soul

Take their tango to their room

And I am still there

Throughout the night

Just hoping for a dance with my soul

But my grief never left its side

So by the dance floor

I cry,
