The Sinking Ship

By Ayush Kumawat

Why am i doing this

Life's become a sinking ship

I can take control

But what's the point to hold

Let it rest on the ocean bed

After a long journey it'll be best

I leave the leash, spiral into darkness

After all what's happiness and what's sadness

It's all surrendered to entropy

Not trying to climb the top of a canopy

There's peace in it

Should just break my castle brick by brick

Time to unbuild and destroy

I'm my own Trojan horse in the city of Troy

There are bruises on my mind

I wish I were kind

Body has gone relaxed I've gone limp

Now it'll all be gone in a glimpse
