*The Silent Symphony*

By S. Jegatha Gokulan

Born an angel,

Growing as daddy's little prince,

Fluttering like a butterfly with innocence,

Bound by vows with no defense.

Everything evolves—

Her name, her essence, her very soul,

Dreams eclipsed, no longer whole,

Chasing ambitions not her own goal.

Even when frail, she won’t retreat,

Her aches are silent, her smile discreet.

Her emotions buried, her heart bittersweet,

Yet she nurtures all, her care replete.

The unsung maestro,

Conducting life’s endless melody,

From daughter’s glee to wifely duty,

Mother’s legacy, boundless beauty.

She bends, she breaks, yet remains refined,

The strength of a woman—a treasure unconfined.
