The Silent Strength

The voice arose when a mother cried,

Too defeated to even stand for her child.

It’s not so easy to live unafraid,

Beneath a cruel society’s shade.

Is this the fate she truly deserves?

Too disheartened, and yet she serves.

It’s not about pay or a position so high,

The only thing she prays is to never cry.

The world may treat her far from good,

But her voice deserves to be understood.

That’s a mother who shines bright,

Guiding hearts to what is right.
