The Seed Of An Idea

Early one morning, the Sun came down

Heated like the hearth, was the ground

“Look, look, look! I found a seed.”

“Let’s plant it together,” the Earth agreed

And for the little one, a bed was drawn

To protect it till death, they had sworn

The Earth nourished it well, with motherly care

It gave its all, and left nothing to spare

The sun stood guard, so no one would dare

Come near the cosy, snug hovel

Now warm, the seed writhed with thirst

That is when a cloud, overhead, burst

In the absence of the sun, now came the wind

It embraced the seedling, caring and kind

Around the seed, they all did swarm

Patiently they had waited, for it to transform

Just like this when an idea is born

It need not be big, it need only be small

We have to together, nurture it, all

Only then it will stand, sturdy and tall.
