The Ruined Smile

She smiled like she cried.

She smiles with her eyes...cries with it too

Loud and Sound

Sometimes for cause, sometimes not.

She smiled for 'them'

They didn't see her smile

nor did they see her cry.

But she smiled regardless

She cried too.

Sometimes she smiled when she cried

And always cried while she smiled

No one ever saw anything.

Her smile is invisible, 'they' said

the CRY too?

No...it isn't

It is just as loud and radiant as it used to be

...so is her smile.

She walked down the street with a lit face.

Silence hanging by her.

She smiled to the souls that passed by...

They didn't smile back!

perhaps her smile IS ruined.

Invisible too...is it?
