Today I went to a quiet little lake,
Troubled by the world, took a short break.
The waves, the sky, the mountains grand,
There's everything but not your hand.
As I was mesmerized by the warmth of the sun,
I missed your warm hands, nowhere to run.
At the moment I got hit by the cool soft breeze,
Made me remember the feeling of our first kiss.
I had this feeling that I wasn't the only,
The clouds above me were just as lonely.
Each wave coming towards me so clear,
Gave me the feeling of you driving near.
I wish to climb the mountain's height,
Holding your hand, a glorious sight.
Where words are not required to speak,
Just quiet moments, what we seek.
Sitting near the lake, beside you, on a large smooth rock,
As our feet touched the water and our hands lock.
You slowly rest your head upon my shoulder,
As I gently play with your hair, while everything gets colder.
And slowly you fall asleep, everything so calm,
And I hold you tightly in my arm.
As your head falls off my shoulder to my lap,
You start adjusting yourself between your nap.
As your face turns towards mine and you hold me all tight,
I slowly adjust your hair behind your ear, what a wonderful sight.
The women i loved sleeping on lap, held me so tight,
Nothing more beautiful, not even the mountain's height.
