Being very much of law to itself, the

king of the wild. Licking its paws, preparing

to hunt. Loitering, anticipating the perfect moment.

As the deer emerges in the scintillating sun

even after being vigilant, alert, observant

prior to its life being flashed before its eyes

While the lion makes stealthy, slow movements.

Close at an ideal distance, charging

upon the prey in a jiffy.

Shrieking in helplessness,

wheezing as the incisors slit the skin,

as the brute attacks the defenceless.

The fearless, furious beast, from

hunting to devour every bit of the flesh.
