The Power In Me

There's a wall out there,

Beyond our imagination.

High and mesmerising,

Full of lies and truths.

I wish I could go there,

To see the view.

But sadly it's just not true,

As many have tried,

To go beyond that wall,

But have failed,

And either died from a fall.

I can see the sun,

Though only partially.

But it's just enough,

To light my heart on fire.

It gives me the courage,

To go and find out what's there.

But the peachish sky,

Tells me to hide.

A sudden feeling of sadness,

Rushes through my spine.

As I shut my eyes.

Suddenly I hear a voice,

As I open my eyes.

It tells me to go further,

And not give up.

A feather flies into my hand,

As a phoenix stands in front of me.

Amazed by these fantasies,

I rush following a melody,

Towards the wall.

As my wings appeared,

In the form of love and courage,

I believed I could do it,

And so I decided to seek my destiny.

As I reach the wall,

After many obstacles.

I understood that,

I have the power of many.

As I take the final step,

To reach everything beyond me.

Now the sky feels like heaven,

No more bringing sadness.

I look to my right,

To see the sun so bright.

I felt burning with power,

Now I'm going further,

To fulfil my desires.

Now I must go further,

To fulfil my destiny.
