The Peacock

As they unfurl their feathers

and sing in glee,

In the cloudy weather dance thee.


The feathers as blue as sapphire,

The peahens admire.

With zealously their wings they flap,

Under the echo of a thunderclap.


The hues of blue

and the shades of green,

The result of nature’s personality,

The planet’s beautiful entity.
