The Path to Realisation

To the one who feels desolate,

You must rise upon your feet!

Never mind if you can’t relate;

Wiser it is not to repeat.

Each step you bravely grasp,

And every word you choose to speak,

Is another door to unhasp,

And knowledge that you seek.

Though the world may seek to dispirit you,

Or criticise your vulnerability,

Believe in what is truly you,

And have faith in your ability.

It’s not wrong to hold on to hope,

You are preparing for life’s next hurdle.

When you find your scope,

You will never deem it impossible.

“Make yourself content,” they said,

And now those words I cherish dear.

In each moment I have led,

I weave memories near.
