I saw something today,

Something I’ve forgotten,

yet something ill never forget.

It took away the entirety of my self for a moment,

Along with the grief that had been lingering for maybe far too long.

I felt as though I’d never felt anything before.

As though id waited only to see this.

It told me to breathe,

And it felt what I felt.

It knew all I knew and it didn’t let me down.

It lifted me up and told me I was going to be okay.

And when I did, it wallowed with me.

It saw colours it didn’t recognise.

It looked as though it had once asked for help,

It looked as though it saw something,

Something it forgot but will never forget.
