The Ones Who Loved in Silence

By Sameer Sawant

Sometimes we find the meaning of it all—

In the wise light breaking through the fall

Where morning shadows softly bend

And love begins but never ends

We disagreed in quiet ways,

two echoes blurred across our days.

Not fate, but time—its tangled thread

unraveled paths we never claimed.

We do not speak- not out of doubt,

But wisdom knows when to hold out

Not every love must shout or shine

Some stay hidden in nights and wine

I felt her not with careless fire

A gentle pull, a sacred desire

Not for love I begged or cried,

But for the peace I kept inside

You may not know the storms I’ve passed,

The loves I’ve lost, the ones I’ve saved.

But still, your silence struck a chord—

A song unsung, a prayer ignored.

And yet I’d give the world to hear

A single word to draw you near.

But if you choose to walk alone,

Know I’ve built kingdoms own

Still, there’s this ache I cannot hide—

To see you smile, to stand beside.

To guard your light, though you’re bright

To simply be where hearts ignite.

So here I stand, no mask, no plea,

Just love raw, wild, and quietly free.

For those who love and never say,

You’re not alone. You feel this way.
