The Ocean

The surface of the ocean

bore the heaviest of weights.

And yet when they sunk in linear motion,

not a ripple of ocean

displayed an agitated commotion.

The surface that once felt

all this intensity,

now waved freely

as if none had revealed their identity.

Why?

Was it because the ocean was so huge

that it didn't matter

what to choose or what to let loose?

How then does one become so huge?

Also, are all delightful things light

and are things heavy

when there is no respite?

For this magnificent ocean

seems to have no such notion in sight.
