The Night Sky, The Solitude

In a clear autumn night, I gaze at the star-studded sky,

The sky appears like a mosaic of stars and planets.

Each star, like a tiny dot on the canvas of the cosmos.

Lakhs of galaxies, billions of stars, The earth -a tiny dot in this boundless universe,Man-a speck of dust, yet filled with ego outsizing this universe

Conceited and inflated with false impression of running the world, Making futile attempt to control the events and happenings.

Little realising his petiteness in the grand design.

The night sky communes with me,

The night sky makes me humble.
