The Most Dangerous

This poem is an interpretation of Pash’s Poem named as

Sabse Khatarnak written in Hindi on farmer’s suicide.

The below poem is my take on what Sabse Khatarnak means for me namely The Most Dangerous as my poem’s heading.

The most dangerous crime,

is not any crime.

It’s the things that we can see,

but still imitate to be blind.

We have become the three monkeys –

Deaf, blind and mute..

who dances on other’s tune.

Discrimination, inflation, corruption all

can be seen but,

still we sing the song of humanity and

stand as a statue who only breathe!!

No action is taken, but all can come

to light the candle on the street.

It’s clearly said that we have progressed,

Then why is India still progressed?

The most dangerous thing is when,

We want to do or say something,

But our voice is oppressed by the rest.
