The morning of a dream, and a morning of reality.

I wake up on a sunny morning,

And i hear the birds calling.

I go outside and sit next to the lake,

Glistening in the sun it almost looks fake.

Flowers suddenly bloom around me,

Swishing side to side like they agree.

Swiftly came a howling sweet breeze,

Suddenly all the birds freeze.

They doze off in peaceful sleep,

Looking soo still it made me creep.

Then abruptly the leaves start a game of chase,

The wind blowing through my hair,

It feels amazing in such a beautiful place,

Then I look at the lake with intensive care,

It rippled politely in the wind,

Making a tune which is soo kind.

Then I feel water on my hands,

I look up, it was rain that was coming from high above the land.

I closed my eyes, falling asleep,

Not aware of anything around me.

I open my eyes and look at the dark sky,

It was night, time really did fly.

I pinched myself it was too hard to believe,

Then I woke up from my sleep.

After all it was just a dream,

Wishing so hard that my next dream would too make me beam.

Then I wake up next morning to the birds call,

I look outside at the trees standing tall.

Then I felt another breeze brew,

I saw outside at the same lake view.

I paused and wondered to myself,

“Wow! Dreams really do come true!”
