The Monster You Make

You label me a monster, as though it’s a curse,

Yet I am the shadow you conjured, so why do you flee?

Why do you quake like prey ensnared in the predator's gaze?

I’ll consume you, but not in violent rapture,

It begins with a simple smile,

And gradually, I’ll savour a tender nibble,

As my hand rests lightly upon your waist.

I’ll trace your ear,

Making you shudder, my dear,

Kissing the curve of your neck, the warmth aglow,

And softly, the rhythm of longing will unfold.

As my lips wander to your chin,

I sense the longing kindling deep within.

Patience, sweetheart, this moment is divine,

As I draw you close and claim you as mine.
