The Missing Element

As the spark of shine shone,

when she opened her eyes to unknown;

It was a bright day for a bride to be,

Amidst all the hustle, she did want to flee.

A drop of tear was towards her cheek kissing,

There was something she was missing;

It was arduous to figure out,

There was hardly any time to cry or shout.

Her dress was gleaming with fabric dyed vivid red,

All the stones and studs glittered in between the thread;

There was a story in every silk weaved,

Don’t know whose efforts was behind the attire heaved.

The makeover was beyond the words to explain,

Her nurturers were there with happy tears and pain;

Though she wasn’t ready to go through it,

So clear as her smile didn’t sink to situation to fit.

Its was not the age, nor the complexion or the size,

She knew this wasn’t the chapter which could be revised;

With the chaos in her mind to go forward or not,

She feared there was not much time to sort.

She held her mom’s hand very tight,

To calm her confused mind which was full of fright;

It is not an easy day for every bride to be,

Though many go through this amidst the glee.
