The Merriness of Independence

“You give me blood and I will give you freedom” he said, for the consequences of his rebelliousness was something he did not dread.

“Sone ki chidiya is what they call our motherland; whose people were stripped of their rights at hand.

And let's not forget Mahatma Gandhi, who held up a peaceful resistance and preached truth and non-violence.

Then come to the revolution which gave rise to the nation of a free Nation.

Then follow the sacrifices of the common folk, whose determination and vigour for freedom was certainly not a hoax.

Atlas, after endless struggle our country was finally free; The air of our nation was filled with nothing but glee.

Dr BR Ambedkar drafted our constitution, giving rights to the people.

And that's my friends, is how our nation, our beloved India came to be.
