The Magical Art-Game Miracle

Updated: Jul 29

By Shrinika Satish Babu

Oh! Hi there, if you ask me about board games, toys, and hangings, my reply would be,

"They are pretty gripping!" And like the same, I wondered - why not try making them from

home without taking them from the shop. Anyway, the world is locked again so, that means

no shops. But then, online shopping has a hold of our hands. Well, that online ordering has a

lot of things to do. In that way, I'm here to drive you into some DIY game ideas. Eventually,

a start should always begin with a story so, here's one. Starting with my online classes, we

had an art project to create a unique artwork using things at home. I and my group, WHITE

VELVET - drove into a concept that included abstract art, stone painting, and a bit of history.

"The meaningless stone age art" should be the name of it. In the background, there's a

meaningless but famous abstract tint, with the title covered in purple glitter. Oh, there is no

stone art without stones, yo! So, one of my friends suggested painting some pebbles as

humans and drawing their hair on the other art piece just above the pebbles' heads after

attaching them. After a month or another, I planned to clean my bad-looking cupboard. On

the way to my cleaning, I found the poor project that our group made. When I took it in my

hands with glee, the stones fell out like falling teeth! All my "T-T" moments flew away.

Although, I thought to turn it into a game! First, I took these stones and scrambled them. And

so, I chose one, put it below a head of a character, blindfolded, took off the blindfold to see if

it was the correct character. Surprisingly, it was. I challenged the loser, my mom, to eat

something she doesn't like in the size of dust. Likewise, if the winner says "dance like a

weirdo," - you'll have to do it - no doubt in that! Well, I just heard a grumbling sound from

my tummy. I've got to fill my mouth with food before my grumpy belly makes the noise echo

around. Bye, all!
