Written by T.P. Tovenaar

(written 9th Oct 2025,

the first day an apparent Gaza peace deal was announced by the US)

So, Trump announces peace,

And Hamas agrees to release

251 Jews - all tortured, most deceased,

That sparked Netanyahu’s holocaust,

On 67,000 Palestinians - maybe more.

Stateless brethren, of a Muslim community

Which includes rich oil states

That the West woos sycophantically,

For gifts of oil, gold and planes

From Arab Sultans princes and sheikhs.

Like the wise kings of the East

Who molded Christianity,

Arab nations are happy

To let the West sort out this insanity,

Of Hitler’s doppelganger,

Now in the form of a Jew

Sacrificing his own people

Prime Minister Netanyahu

Destroyed a Muslim race

Who fought back with stones

He, unleashed missiles

On their homes and their bones

Denying them food, Denying them water

Like ancestors in Auswichz,

He starved Palestinians to slaughter

And all the while the West

mildly disapproved

Indebted to financial markets

Run - by the Jews

And the Arab nations preferred

Not to pull the ‘oil card’

They don’t want troublesome Palestinians

Stinking up their back yard

And the toothless dogs of the UN and the International Courts, whined

Sucking on the bones of the vulnerable

Pleading incapacity to help either side

They eagerly anticipate the brokered fragile peace.

So they can feast on the development funds

That will inevitably be released,

To privileged multilaterals to start reparations.

Lucrative contracts shared out:

Between a few nations.

EU, UK, and of course the US -

If you have United or Union in your name

Then surely your’e the best

Country to know how to bring people together,

Even though the violence in your own homes

Is now… worse than ever

And whilst Trump demands to be Nobelled as a hero,

War Lord Blair to preside as a king,

Camera lights will dim

On painful Palestinian sights,

Of children with no homes to live in

And the world will think its over,

Like they did with Bosnia and Herzagovina

Where people now still live in divided terror

And no one cares any more….did they ever?

Not one good thing has come to pass

Netanyahu is still not out on his arse

He failed to deliver the disarmed Hamas

Promised to the right wing coalition, who gave him that task

He failed thousands of Israeli’s standing vigil each night

For two years –

Demanding their government end this plight.

And the violence will continue on our screens as we stare

Because greedy governments and institutions really don’t care.
