The Lost Spark

Sep 30, 2022

Days sparkling like the sun

Nights tangled with the loss

One soul with the fine glaze

Other had a tearing blaze.

Happiness sponsored by promises

Prisoned by faith

Ruined by Expectations

Lost the strength to revive

Tempting hopes kept her alive.

Arms weakened to hold the truth about your world

Attempts successful

Better half cherished

Friendship vanished

And the spark was lost.

Lost in an ocean full of masked identities

Where the "real' is left behind

Yet thirsty with fullest glass of change

Change to spark within myself!!
