The lost cat

By Jaisal Badwani

Once upon a time there lived a boy. His name was Alex. He loved pets & specially cats. Alex had many cats, birds & also a real snake. One of his cats was Peter. As Peter was born, he was very weak & needed special care. Alex treaded him very well & grew him up to a big & strong cat. Now Peter was just like a normal cats but better. Alex also loved to swim & he was selected for a competition & he took Peter along with him. Alex packed his bags & went to the railway station to go to the place where the competition was held. They boarded the train & Alex took a nap. After 5 minutes the train stopped at a railway station & a man boarded the train. At that station Alex went out of the train to fill his bottle. When he returned he saw that Peter was not there.

He was searching Peter but he could not find him. He searched the whole train but he did not find him anywhere. After some time of searching Alex herd a meowing & he recognized that it was Peter. He chased the voice & eventually got to seat where the man was sitting he asked the man about the cat but the man said he did not see the cat. When the man was leaving the train Alex saw a pet cage on the man’s hand he chased the man & found that he stole Peter. He caught the man & said “why did you steal my cat”. The man started crying & said “sorry, I am very sorry. My daughter loves cats & I could not afford one. Please forgive me”. Alex forgave him and said “I have a swimming competition would you like to come with me to attend my competition”. The man said “yes i would love to come with you”. They both sat on the train again & arrived at their destination. Alex got ready for his competition & luckily he won the first prize. He bought a kitten for the man & surprised him. The man was very happy & thankful to Alex.
