The Lone Flower

By Aadhya Singh

I saw a flower,

Popping up out of nowhere.

It stood alone in the grass,

No friends, no family—it didn’t seem to care.

It was different, not like the rest,

But somehow, it still looked its best.

Bright and bold, it didn’t hide,

It stood with courage and so much pride.

And that’s when I understood one thing:

You don’t have to fit in to be amazing.

You don’t have to change who you are,

Being yourself will take you far.

Be like an eagle, flying high,

Alone, but free in the endless sky.

They don’t need others to lead the way,

They’re strong and fearless every day.

So, stand like the flower, shine like the sun,

Be true to yourself—you’re the only one!
