THE LETTER

On a July evening, With a pen , paper and coffee I sat writing a letter for you In the weather dark and foggy. Remembering our time together, And The songs that we always heard; All my emotions, my love , my faith I moulded them into words. I held that letter close, For it had my honesty and tears I scribbled it to tell you Of loosing you I had fears.

But fate had other plans, You were no where found I wanted to hand over my feelings And you gave me questions abound. Now I weep with the clouds in guilt, My love left untold, I wished to hold your warmth in My heart, now your memories leave me utterly cold. I had foreseen a future with you, So much bright and better. But all what lies with me now Is only pain and the unsent letter.
