The Land of Memories

Pearl like tears flowed down her cheeks

As she drove her car

Thinking about her last love

Who's no more, leaving behind a deep scar

The night seemed to stay still

As if it's mourning her loss

The air felt heavy

By the sorrow of grieving souls

The heavens started to cry

With occasional howls

That appear to be

Like glowing scars

Out of nowhere, came a dazzling light

Which blinded her hard

Everything turned dark

And line between life and death blurred

She opened her swollen eyes

To find herself in a strange land

She looked around herself

And saw her love standing behind

She ran crying to him

And hugged him smiling

Then she observed her surroundings

To know where she was standing

That's when she realised

She was standing in a strange place

Which combines sweet memories of her soul

And tried to soothe her life into peace

Then she looked back at him

To see he was gone

Her soul broke

And everything went dark again

Suddenly she opened her eyes

To see herself in her car

She saw him sitting behind

And smiling at her

She was confused

But didn't care less

As long as he doesn't leave her alone

In the land of her memories
