My Mom once whispered a secret in my ear

With kindled eyes fixed on her I heard

“A Witch stole the King - your father

She's going to try and steal you, too”

Their new castle must be full of magicks

Bust the door open, please don't close it yet!

I can sense his set of claws, searching for flaws

In the window-net, catching all the evil fears

Momma, I didn't mean to say I lov…

   I know he took everything

Shook your being and without looking back

All I'm seeing is your grief and death, I can't lov…

The Monster is closer every night I'm there

My pillow a scare-guard, covered I shiver to fall…

As his howls are heard through the shadowy trees

He's always present and and he never sleeps

“Beware the King for he changed his ways

Do what he says or I might just be hanged

Light your em's on fire, even the dire, be a face for me

Lace your shoes, it's time to go little liar”

The monster, my own evil fear, I found

Hard to make disappear as It was not my terror

The Queen's creation took it's time before finally

Showing me It was but the King in my Momma's mirror
