The Journey

Walking through the unmetalled road

Sea-waves in the solid state

Zigzag road to reach the destination.

Still walking through the dense forest,

Dark lake, black airspace –

To meet You.

The coiled serpent sleeps dormantly

Narendranath awakens it gracefully

To become Swami Vivekananda.

Journey begins upward to meet the ‘self’

In the dark,frowning forest without help!

Pitch dark clouds cover the entire sight

Darkness is nothing, only absence of light.

Sitting still, eyes closed, darkness evaporates

The sleeping serpent awakens and radiates

Destiny’s designed denouement dawns at destination –

We all are one and should live in unison

Then why is here degenerated discrimination?

The intellectuals are lacking in self-realization!
