The igniting fire

The fire that ignited the souls of the ebony is shred.

The voices inside them sound dead.

The laughter they shared was divine,

Which left the whole forest in a shrine.

The epiphany was feral,

that’s why it left the whole forest in terror. Sun shining through a forest

Fire : values

Ignited: light up

Souls of ebony : people

Voices : the good core

Laughter : nature and thoughts of the people.

Whole forest : society

Shrine : a good place to live or sacred place

Epiphany: realization

ABSTRACT:

The poem substantiates the comparative overview of the society’s transformation. This situation seems to be quite underwhelming as well as lugubrious. In today’s world full of machiavellian, once in a blue moon we meet magnanimous and optimistic souls .

Meaning: The core values which basically lighted up the souls of human is torn apart . We all must agree to the fact that nowadays the crime is increasing and the potential of good values is evaded . “The voices inside them sound like dead” , in this line , I am referring to the good values which are almost dead in today’ world . The world back then was blissful , furthermore the perspective of people was sanguine . The talks they shared were beatific as well as stood on pillar of good values which consequently made world a better place to live . However , the realization of this fact is wild because it took us a lot time to understand the direction we are moving towards . This has left our society in a conundrum which leads to a horrible conclusion that are we yet carrying those values inspite of living in a world where crime , corruption is increasing .
