The House

Updated: Jan 24, 2024

The girl stands still, staring at her old house

A place where her heart learned to sing and glide

At the weathered walls that carry a canvas of memories

At the winds that whisper the untold tales, she stares

Now comes her new abode with a blank canvas

With the brush in her hand

And she continues to paint

Her unfinished life
