The Heart of Silence
By Aakriti Prasad
In the quiet, where few dare to go,
Lies a world of meaning, a gentle glow.
Words unsaid, like stars in the night,
Hold truths unseen, yet shining bright.
An introvert’s silence is not a void,
But a treasure of thoughts they’ve carefully employed.
It’s not that they don’t want to speak,
But fear and doubt can make them weak.
Each unspoken word is a tender song,
A memory, a hope, where they belong.
A moment too fragile to let unfold,
A story of courage yet to be told.
Judgment looms like a heavy cloud,
Dimming their voice, though they long to be proud.
“What if I’m too much? What if I’m not enough?”
The questions whisper, the answers feel rough.
But silence is more than a shield or fear,
It’s a place where love and dreams appear.
A soft glance, a touch, a breath held still,
Speaks of a heart that feels so real.
For some, their loudest cries aren’t heard,
Hidden within each unspoken word.
But their silence holds a beauty rare,
A strength, a depth beyond compare.
So, let us listen to the quiet souls,
Whose words are stories the heart beholds.
In their silence lies a gentle embrace,
A world of meaning, a sacred space.
To the silent ones: you are enough,
Your quiet strength, your tender stuff.
For in your silence, the world can see,
A heart that loves so beautifully.

poetry is so good 👍
Your writing captures the quiet depth of introverted souls so gracefully that you give silence itself a voice that feels profoundly understood.
Each and every line written is amazing.
