The Guide

Long…Long ago

When I was a teenager

I felt lost and alone

Felt disillusioned as ever

With no one to guide me and support me

The fear and doubt of not being ambitious crept me in

I was lost in path

One fine day

A ray of light came into my life

Standing and guiding me through the harsh realities

Confronting my fears and insecurities

Making me feel confident like never before

As I grow up into a young woman

His guidance is continuing to inspire me

And helping me to believe in myself

And soar higher and higher.
