Humans are the social beings,

whose life defines a pilgrimage,

Heartfelt heartbeats’ regale religion of humanity,

hails an antique page.

Materialized on Earth, another name of God,

Our timeless bonds of heavenly love,

Celebration of our relationships,

Amid diversities, graced with oneness, olive and dove.

Oystering the aureole of moon,

Chandeliering the erudition of Thousand Suns,

Attaining the innermost shrine ,

Cradling empires of historic creations.

Cherishing chariots of celebrated civilisations,

Signatured the Indians, on sands of time,

Braving acid tests of time, assimilation and tolerance of Indian race,

Our historic legacy, rattles a patriotic rhyme.

Fleshed with same blood and bones, those worshippers of religion,

Oblivious to social distinctions, shake hands to build the nation.

Here it is, where God has nestled his own kingdom, hailed by various names by man,

Adding glory to the name of God, sunrises with bells, conches and holy Azan.

Weaves a tapestry ,

Mother India, being Creator’s canvas for colours,

Landscaping the tricolour in her scenery,

Fabricating the fabric, with fascinating colours, tightly binds all Indian flavours.

For years together, different groups have come and settled on this land,

Entertained face and facades, tasting different mother tongues, lifting the glory of motherland.

Indians have shared theirs lives, shared sounds, smells, senses of envisioned unity,

Inherited our genes , treasures heartbeats, a sense of togetherness, embalming its purity.

Blowing trumpets of triumph of her struggle for independence,

Different sections of society, rendered muscle to chariots, despite of divergence.

Uniting us, treasure of festive seasons and culinary refinements,

Spreading the language of love and belongingness, breaking the shakles of confinements.

Sons of God all are we, echoes the scriptures, world’s our own family,

Enlightens to world, compassion, affection and unity, rule the stars of humanity.
