The Gladiator

The Gladiator wields words sharper than any blade,
A warrior in the unending battle for life’s spoils.
Each dawn, another test of his unyielding mettle,
As time hurls dread to break his spirit.
The weak are stripped to the bone by the world’s cruelty,
But the Gladiator stands, fists poised like lightning bolts.
No chain can bind the beast within him,
His tormentors mock his despair,
Yet his wounds have ceased to bleed.
Scars remain, etched as eternal reminders,
For pain knows no final chapter.
Anger courses through his veins,
Agony ignites his heart like a blazing inferno.
In the depths of his darkest fears,
He trained, honed by the abyss itself,
Emerging with the strength to endure any onslaught.
The Gladiator rises, wings of fire unfurling,
A phoenix born to defy his fate.
Destiny bows to his unrelenting will,
For no one tames the wolf who rules the wild.
He roars, and the skies bow in awe,
The oceans crown him upon the throne of honour.
Here stands a king, forged in fear’s crucible,
Ruler of his fate, master of his destiny.
